Established in 2010 the Endeavour Inlet Conservation Trust is a community-driven initiative creating and supporting conservation projects in the hills surrounding Endeavour Inlet.
Introduced pests, such as rats, stoats, possums and cats have had a major impact on the local native bird and insect populations as well as their habitat.  Sustained conservation effort, amalgamating and intensifying efforts already underway by many locals, is needed to ensure the survival and regeneration of the local bush and it’s threatened inhabitants.
